A disappointment. But first, the good: the view is incomparable and almost worth the mediocre food. Waitstaff was attentive and accomodating, particularly by allowing me to respond to a page on their phone since I had no cell phone reception. The wine selection was excellent and the house wine, by the glass , was also highly exceptional for wine-by-the-glass. I thought that the ambiance, lighting and noise level were excellent. But, overall, the food was most mediocre. I don't mind paying for overpriced food if the quality is there (Everest, Tallgrass in Lockport and Charlie Trotter's). But our entree, the blackened cod was unimaginatively presented and sparse in quantity. Perhaps the portion that we received was geared to their fixed price menu. Since we were there for pre-theater, we didn't have time for multi course dining beyond appetizer, entree and dessert (which was also enjoyable, albeit sparsely portioned). I would not return there given our experience.
